NFL's Braylon Edwards once dated actress, Kate Hudson.
Unfortunately, Hudson's parents and long time couple, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, didn't approve because Edwards just so happen to be Black/African American; an ethnicity cited to be the object of the couple's disdain. Interestingly enough, his questionable sexual orientation and the numerous children he sired had nothing to do with their disapproval.
Actress, Taraji P. Henson, use to date Lamar Odom up to his marrying Khloe Kardashian.
Odom was carrying the relationships simultaneously to both women's unawares despite having asked Henson to marry him first. Upon her refusal, Odom went with his second choice.
The upswing of their marriage is that he had time in the spotlight because with Henson, he was always pushed to the background.
